Wanted: Chili Cookoff Participants

Do you have what it takes to be crowned the Champion of Chili? Join us at our 1st Annual Cornhole Tournament and Chili Cookoff Fundraiser on Saturday, May 4th on the upper field. Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. The First Place Champion will also receive a commemorative apron.

Chili Cookoff Rules

1. Chili must be a warm stew made with a combination of meat, beans, or vegetables, along with tomatoes.
2. Bring at least 2 gallons of chili, hot and ready to serve from a crockpot or other slow cooker.
3. Please label your chili as vegetarian or non-vegetarian.
4. Please list all your chili ingredients on a small recipe card to be placed next to your crockpot.
5. If you wish to offer toppings such as cheese and sour cream, you must provide these items.
6. We will provide a pop-up tent, table, tablecloth, chair, and electricity, tasting cups, tasting spoons, and napkins.
7. Those who have purchased tasting tickets will have wristbands.
8. Tasting and voting is from 1 pm – 3 pm. Winners will be announced at 3:30 pm.
9. Tasters will be given a small bowl and spoon following the announcement of the winners so they can go back for a bowl of their favorite.
