Community Center Preschool of La Canada Flintridge Western Round-Up Exceeds Fundraising Goal!
Percentage of Silent Auction Proceeds Will be Donated to Fire Relief Funds
March 20, 2025 – The Community Center Preschool of La Canada Flintridge hosted its annual fundraising event, the Western Round-Up, on Saturday March 8th and the event went off without a hitch! This year’s event was extra special because a portion of the silent auction proceeds will be donated to those affected by the recent fires. And the remaining proceeds will go directly back to the preschool to fund enrichment programs, teacher development, and additional yard and classroom upgrades.
On the day of the event, the sun was shining as families and friends throughout the community gathered to enjoy carnival rides, pony rides, game booths, a petting zoo, face painting, balloon animals, and a silent auction. Attendees also indulged in sweet treats from the event’s General Store and delicious tacos from neighborhood favorite, Los Gringos Locos! One lucky preschool supporter lassoed the $500 Apple Gift Card raffle prize kindly donated by Carey Haynes of Compass real estate.
It takes so many hearts, hands, and talents to plan and successfully execute the preschool’s biggest fundraiser. A big thanks to the dedicated Parent Board, the preschool’s director, Danielle Caputo, and teachers, our loyal and generous vendors and sponsors, and of course, our invested parents and families. The preschool wants to say Yee-Haw and many, many thanks to all involved! The school could not have met its goal without all your time, effort, and support.
