Community Traditions

For over 30 years, our community has gathered on Thanksgiving morning to lace up their sneakers, stretch their muscles, and embrace the spirit of gratitude and health. Whether you’re a seasoned runner aiming for a personal best or prefer a leisurely stroll with family and friends, our 5K and Kids’ Mile events offer an inclusive and festive atmosphere for participants of all ages and fitness levels. In addition, designated schools and businesses in our area will welcome your generous donations for our Food Drive throughout the month of November.
Saddle up and join us for our annual Western Round-Up in March – a day of rip-roaring games and rootin’-tootin’ fun for the whole family! Our western wonderland is complete with pony rides, a petting zoo, and carnival games galore. Bid on fantastic prizes at our silent auction, indulge your sweet tooth with treats from our bake sale, and try your hand at winning fabulous prizes at our carnival games. So dust off your boots, grab your cowboy hat, and mosey on down for a day of fun, laughter, and community spirit.
Celebrate the creativity and craftsmanship of our local artists at our biannual Ceramic Sales, held in May and December each year! From elegant vases and intricately glazed bowls to whimsical sculptures and functional pottery, you’ll discover a diverse array of treasures waiting to be explored. Whether you’re searching for the perfect addition to your home decor, a meaningful gift for a loved one, or simply want to support local artisans, our Ceramic Sales offer something for everyone.
Gather the family and join us for an evening of fun, laughter, and delicious treats at our Family Bingo Night and Ice Cream Sundae Bar! From young to young-at-heart, our Family Bingo Night promises entertainment for all ages, with plenty of opportunities to test your luck and show off your competitive spirit. Also indulge in a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings galore, from classic sprinkles and chocolate syrup to MnMs and whipped cream.
