Thanksgiving Run & Food Drive
The Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge’s Thanksgiving Run – a 5K and Kids’ Mile – has been a local tradition and a community favorite for more than three decades. It is the Community Center’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and proceeds will directly support the development of inclusive programs that serve the needs of all members of our surrounding communities. Both the 5K and Kids’ Mile are professionally timed races that begin at Olberz Park in La Cañada Flintridge. The 5K will begin at 8:15am and the Kids’ Mile will begin at 9:30am. Awards will be given to the top finishers in both races, and all Kids’ Mile participants will receive a medal.

Food Drive
Drop-off bins from NASA Services will be located at CCLCF and selected organizations throughout the area starting in November. Bring your non-perishable canned or boxed goods and hygiene items to those locations throughout the month, or to Olberz Park on Thanksgiving Day. Donations will be given to Sue’s Garden in La Crescenta for distribution to local families in need.
