Bowl-A-Thon to Benefit Charity

Recently, 13 of our Ceramics Studio members came together at our Annual Bowl-a-thon to throw soup bowls for Home Again L.A.’s (H.A.L.A) Empty Bowls Project. This non-profit organization has brought over 600 homeless families back into permanent housing through its community efforts and fundraising events. Last year, CCLCF’s Ceramics community donated over 130 handmade ceramic bowls that were then brought to the Empty Bowls event. This year, on Saturday, October 19th, attendees will enjoy a wide variety of soups from local restaurants such as sweet potato, green pozole, and chicken noodle. The proceeds from the purchasing of our studio’s ceramic bowls will directly contribute to H.A.L.A’s fight against homelessness. To read more about this organization, visit homeagainla.org.
