Howdy, Folks! On Saturday, March 8th, 2025, the Community Center Preschool of La Canada Flintridge will host their annual Western Round-Up! For 31 years, the Western Round-Up has brought together preschool families, and the community at large, for a one-of-a-kind Western-themed carnival that is the preschool’s largest fundraiser of the year.

Every year proceeds from the Round-Up fund enrichment programs, school and playground enhancements, and teacher development. Additionally, this year a percentage of the proceeds from the event’s Silent Auction will go to wildfire relief, including Community Center of La Canada Flintridge (CCLCF) families affected by the Eaton Fire, St. Mark’s and Fair Oaks Schools in Altadena. “Our hearts reach out to our CCLCF staff, participants, instructors, preschool families, and other community members who were affected by the devasting fires. Over 15 of our CCLCF families completely lost their homes or have been affected with long term evacuations and extensive damage. We want to do what we can to help,” says Danielle Caputo, Director of the Community Center Preschool.

The Round-Up boasts carnival rides, pony rides, game booths, a petting zoo, face painting, and balloon animals. It also features a Silent Auction that is not to be missed. This year some of the featured items include Dodgers tickets, Frogs Leap wine tasting in Napa, Magic Castle tickets, summer camps and more!

If that is not enough incentive, Carey and Andy Haynes, of the Haynes Group Compass real estate offices, is generously donating a $500 Apple Gift Card, which will be raffled off on the day. Guests, who are feeling lucky, can purchase their raffle tickets at the Community Center Preschool office or at the Round-Up itself for $1.00 per ticket. Wait, there is more! Families can also grab lunch from the Los Gringos Taco Cart (a neighborhood favorite) and then visit the Round-Up’s General Store for a sweet treat! Bring the whole family down on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 between 10am and 2pm to experience a rootin’ tootin’ good time!
