CLASS AND WORKSHOP REGISTRATION INFORMATION
We highly recommend that you register on-line at www.cclcf.org. Here, you will be able to have an account, see the classes you have registered for in the past, and use any class credits immediately. You can also register in person at the main office during office hours. We accept checks, cash, Visa, or MasterCard. There is a $25.00 fee for each returned check.
Sign up early! This ensures your place in high-demand classes. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make every effort to register prior to the start date of the class. Your registration may make the difference as to whether a class runs or is canceled. Class spaces are held only for registrants who have paid in full. The cost of classes is not pro-rated. Make-up classes and credit for missed classes are not available.
CLASS AND WORKSHOP CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
CCLCF does not give advance confirmation of enrollment. You should consider yourself registered in a class unless otherwise notified. To verify registration call us at 818/790-4353.
We will make every effort to notify registered students by phone of changes/cancellations. CCLCF reserves the right to discontinue, postpone, combine classes and/or change instructors. Students will automatically be given a full refund for classes, which are canceled by the CCLCF, unless the student requests a transfer of enrollment fees to another class. Make-up classes will be scheduled for classes canceled by the CCLCF. Outdoor classes will be canceled in the event of rain, please call to confirm cancellation. For the benefit of other learners, disruptive behavior is not tolerated. If a student is asked to leave a class because of disruptive behavior, tuition is non-refundable.
CLASS REFUND AND CREDIT/TRANSFER POLICY (non-camp programs/classes)
Refunds/Credits are given when a class or program is cancelled by CCLCF. If you need to cancel your registration, in order to receive a refund you must notify the office (not the instructor) by telephone, e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, or in person at the Community Center office, two weeks prior to the start of the class or program, deducting $10 for processing. Refunds will be issued via the method paid. No refunds will be issued with less than two weeks within the start of the class.
If you need to cancel your registration less than two weeks prior to the start of the class or program, a credit will be applied to your account for the amount paid, deducting $10 for processing. If a student chooses to withdraw after the first class, a prorated credit can be requested via telephone, email to email@example.com, or in person at the Community Center office. No credits will be issued after the second class. Prorated credits/refunds may be given after a program has begun if written medical verification (from your primary physician) is received for illness or injury. Class fees are not pro-rated for vacations. Credits will expire one year after the original issue date.
Customers who wish to transfer from one class or program to another, if has space, may do so with a $5 processing fee. Transfer requests must be for the same participant.
CAMP RUNAMUK CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICIES:
Two weeks’ notice is required for all refunds and transfers. Cancellations up to two weeks prior to each session will receive a full refund minus $50 non-refundable fee per child. If less than two weeks’ notice, no refund will be given. No exceptions. For instance, if you would like to cancel week 4, you must call the office on Monday of week 2 no later than 5:00 p.m. Please call the office for any registration questions or changes. If the camper cannot attend Camp due to injury or illness, we will need a signed doctor’s note for consideration of refund. The signed Waiver Form will include your signature stating you have read and understand the cancellation / refund policies.
The safety of our participants is our number one concern. Parents will be informed of their child’s unacceptable behavior. Rules include not causing physical harm to others, respecting fellow participants, instructors, and staff. Please read our Code of Conduct for more details regarding behavioral issues for all participants.
PHOTO RELEASE AND WAIVER
All students involved in a program shall be deemed to have waived all claims against the CCLCF for injury, accident, illness, or death occurring during or by reason of the program or activities. A signed waiver is mandatory prior to participation by all. The release waiver reads as:
I hereby give permission for images of my child, captured during the Community Centers Classes through video, photo and digital camera, to be used solely for the purposes of promotional material and publications (local newspapers, Facebook, CCLCF website), and waive any rights of compensation or ownership thereto. I agree to defend, indemnify and hold the Community Center, its employees and agents, harmless from and against any and all loss, damage, injury, demand, liability and cause of action arising from or in any manner connected to the participation of the participant. In case of an emergency, I authorize any licensed physician, nurse or hospital to render such medical aid as may deemed necessary and/or desirable.
