Camp Counselors will go over the rules daily with the campers. Rules are set in place to help staff focus on making camp a positive environment without the barriers of behavioral issues. If you have additional questions regarding anything noted above, please contact the Main Office staff at the Community Center. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Sign-in starts at 9:00am at check-in tables located on the field. This year we will have a streamlined check-in process based on groups (campers will receive their group assignment in advance). Each camper must be signed in and out each day. Campers will be released upon pick-up only to those listed as authorized. Valid photo ID must be shown at pick-up. Pick-up will take place at the field as well. Please note campers may NOT walk alone to or from the parking lot for drop-off or pick-up.

Parents of the participant enrolled in Camp Runamuk will be charged $25.00 if their camper stays past 5 minutes of the noted pick-up time (charged for after camp care of the week). If you find yourself running late, please notify the Community Center immediately so we are aware. Late fees will still be charged. If a parent or authorized pick-up person does not arrive or call within 5 minutes past the designated pick-up time, staff will begin to call all authorized pick-up contacts noted during registration. Late fees will be due within two business days. Continual disregard for the pick-up time or failure to pay after camp care fees will result in the child’s termination from camp(s). It is very important to always have updated contact information on your account. Any child who is not picked up will be under the supervision of the CCLCF Office Staff until the parent, authorized pick-up person, or authorities arrive.

Cancellations made before May 1, 2026 will receive a credit of 100%, or a refund minus a $50 processing fee per child per week.
No refunds or credits will be given for Camp Runamuk after May 1, 2026.

If a camper cannot attend Camp Runamuk due to extenuating circumstances, we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the office with additional questions.

For the health and welfare of your child and other campers, we cannot accept children if they are showing symptoms of any and all contactable illnesses. If symptoms of illness appear during the day, the child’s primary emergency contact will be contacted to pick them up.

Camp and Community Center staff are not authorized to hold or support campers to comply with taking needed medication without consent from a parent/guardian. If your child requires medication (prescribed or over the counter) to be taken during the camp day, it is imperative that you submit a Medication Administration Form to the Office staff prior to your child’s first week of camp. Please note that Camp staff are not permitted to administer medication – the child must be able to self-administer. You will obtain an email from our Program Director the week prior to camp starting with the medication administration form. Please fill this out and bring it with you to the first day of camp and discuss with the Program Director at check in

To help ensure the welfare of our staff and campers we have created a discipline policy which will be enforced in response to persistent undesirable behavior. Should a participants’ inability to follow the established behavioral guidelines and expectations hinder the experience of others, the following course of action will be followed:

  1. First incident: No incident report, conversation with program participant and counselor.
  2. Second incident: Written incident report, conversation with program participant and parent/guardian regarding approach to behavioral issues.
  3. Third incident : Written incident report, final reparative conversation from Program Director with program participant and parent/guardian.
  4. Fourth incident: Written incident report, one-day suspension from program and conversation with Executive Director.

Should undesirable behavior further persist, the program participant will be immediately expelled from the program and all upcoming sessions within the program period. Provided that the individual is willing to follow the behavior guidelines and expectations, they are welcome to re-register for programs within the upcoming program period.

Limited funds are available to provide scholarships for program participants at CCLCF. If you wish to be considered for a scholarship, please email office@cclcf.org.
We have paid counselor positions for those age 16 and up. Those under 16 are encouraged to sign up for our Counselor in Training Program (CIT program). This program runs concurrently as Camp Runamuk and is a heavily reduced cost to Camp Runamuk.
