Ballet Exercise

The class is built around ballet techniques, but no dance experience is necessary. A simple warm up and stretch gets the body ready for toning and strengthening at the ballet barre with easy to follow exercises that will build strength and improve posture and tone. We then have a short cardio section that will incorporate simple ballet moves that will make you feel like a ballerina as we work on grace of movement, coordination and balance. The class ends with toning, strengthening and stretching on the floor for a complete body workout that is fun and inspiring. Soft sole ballet shoes or jazz shoes are recommended as well as a yoga or workout mat.

Winter II: February 16 – March 21 (6 weeks)
Spring I: April 4 - May 16 (7 weeks)
